It’s the Jews’ fault we desecrated their menorah
23 12 2009So says the Moldovan church in their recent ‘apology’ for the removal and replacement of a menorah in another location upside down. Read the entire article here.
What do you mean? Did you see the way those Jews were displaying themselves? They were totally asking for it.
I’m sorry. This is what the article sounds like, and blaming one’s criminal actions on another’s appearance is unacceptable.

Sign stolen from Auschwitz concentration camp
18 12 2009
The sign at the entrance to the Auschwitz concentration camp was stolen today. Read the entire article here. I wonder who stole it, what their agenda is, and what story we will hear when it’s recovered.
May it be recovered soon. In the meantime, a temporary sign is in its place.

I’m sorry… who’s the victim?
4 12 2009The JTA is reporting the following story… a Palestinian stabs a couple of Israeli women (couldn’t fight a man I guess…), gets shot, and then an Israeli settler (man) runs over him a few times with his car. Sure, the guy didn’t have to run over the Palestinian, he was already down, but I can’t say I blame him—maybe he was a husband, father, brother of one of the women? Watch the Al Jazeera video for the surprise twist.
This is absolute insanity when an aggressor (not to mention a cowardly one) gets a taste of his own medicine and he’s portrayed as the victim. This makes me sick. Of course, this could be another incident like the picture that fed the liberal media machine. We’ll see.

Apple Tech Support Tips: 4 Steps to Bend Apple to Your Will
24 11 2009There are some great tips in this article to get help from Apple for support problems. It can basically be said that you just need to be polite and respectful to get help. Having worked for Apple we were pretty much willing to bend over backwards for people who were really cool and polite when they had a problem they needed help with.
That said, I don’t believe emailing a CEO of any company should be standard procedure for personal help with a computer problem. This is bad advice as it is unprofessional and immature. How would you like to be the CEO of a company whose consumers believe he’s a part of the problem resolution team? That’s what the support channels are for. Only corporate problems that cannot be resolved through the designated channels need to go to the CEO. This is true for any company.
If you can’t get coverage or support for a problem after being polite and trying all of the available resources, stop sniveling.

Charity funding anti-Israel, pro-Iran profs
24 11 2009I’m amazed anew every time I read an article about this occurring in the United States. Read the full article here.
The Alavi Foundation has aggressively given away hundreds of thousands of dollars to Columbia and Rutgers for Middle Eastern and Persian studies programs that employ professors sympathetic to the Iranian dictatorship, the newspaper reported Monday.
I wonder how long this ‘foundation’ will be allowed to continue operation.

Hungarian political party promises ‘cleansing’ of country
24 11 2009At a dinner Sunday night I spoke with a Jewish couple who had visited Vienna and were nearly not allowed into a local synagogue. The anti-Semitism is so bad in Vienna that Jews are scared and won’t let anyone into the community they don’t know. I Googled anti-Semitism in Austria and found next to nothing.
This article is not about Austria; it is about Hungary. A representative of the Jobbik political party “promised a new extermination of ‘vermin’ in a forthcoming ‘cleansing’ of the Hungarian nation.” Take a moment to read the full article here. Read more about the Jobbik party here.
When you come across an article about anti-Semitic activities tell your friends and family about it. Tweet about it. Facebook it. Whatever. Get the word out. Anti-Semitic activities are increasing and we must make people aware and act against it in whatever way we can.
